SubX is an AI-powered subtitle translation service. We provide two products:

By using the Site or subscribing to a Service, you confirm that you:
SubX is sold on a recurring subscription basis. You may choose monthly or annual billing at checkout. Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated; your bank or card issuer will convert to your local currency where applicable.
Payments are processed by our gateway partners, Paystack and Flutterwave. By subscribing, you authorize the chosen gateway to charge your selected payment method for the total amount, including any taxes or fees that apply in your jurisdiction.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through your Paystack or Flutterwave customer dashboard, or by emailing support@subxai.org. Your license remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for; there are no early-cancellation fees.
On successful payment you will receive your license key by email within seconds, along with download and activation instructions. License keys are personal, non-transferable, and tied to your subscription status.
Because SubX is a digital service that becomes immediately accessible upon purchase, all sales are final. We will only issue a refund under the following conditions:

When you subscribe to SubX, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for the duration of your active subscription. You may use SubX for personal, freelance, and commercial video projects without restriction on output volume beyond the daily limits stated in your plan.
You may not:
Violation of these restrictions will result in immediate termination of access and may also result in legal action and a claim for damages equal to lost revenue.
All Site content — including text, visuals, source code, the SubX trademarks, and the underlying translation prompts and models — is the exclusive property of SubX or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
The translation output you generate using SubX — the translated subtitle text itself — belongs to you. SubX claims no ownership over your translations and you may use them in any project without attribution to us.
Subtitle text you submit to SubX is sent to our translation servers and processed by the AI engines listed in our Privacy Policy. We may retain anonymized translation pairs to improve translation quality across the platform. We do not sell your content and we do not share your email, license key, or identifying metadata with any third party except as necessary to operate the Services (for example, payment processors and email delivery providers).
We may update the Software, the translation engine, and the Services at any time to fix bugs, improve quality, add languages, or add features. Subscribers retain access to all such updates for the duration of their active subscription at no extra cost.
We will not materially degrade existing functionality during an active subscription period. If we permanently retire a feature you depend on, we will give at least 30 days' notice and a pro-rata refund if you decide to cancel as a result.
You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential. Treat it like a password — do not share it, post it publicly, or commit it to a public repository. Notify us immediately at support@subxai.org if you believe your key has been compromised, and we will issue a replacement.
SubX may revoke a license key in cases of confirmed fraud, chargeback, sharing, or material breach of these Terms.
SubX provides automated AI translation. While we work continuously to improve quality, machine translation may contain errors, mistranslations, or culturally inappropriate phrasing.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. You acknowledge that you are responsible for reviewing translation output before publishing or distributing it in your work.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SubX, its operators, and its contributors shall not be liable for any:
Our total cumulative liability arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
SubX integrates with and depends on several third-party services to operate. These include, but are not limited to:
SubX is not responsible for the availability, content, terms, or data-handling practices of these external services. Outages or breaking changes at a third-party provider may temporarily affect SubX's availability.
You may terminate your subscription at any time by cancelling through your payment gateway or by emailing us. SubX may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, misuse our intellectual property, share your license key, initiate a fraudulent chargeback, or engage in any activity that materially harms SubX, its users, or its operators.
On termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms cease, and you must stop using and uninstall the Software from all your devices. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) will survive termination.
SubX is a global service used by customers around the world. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos, Nigeria.
If you are a consumer purchasing the Services for personal or professional use in your country of residence, the mandatory consumer protection laws of that country may also apply and grant you additional rights that cannot be waived by contract. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit those rights. Where local law gives you a broader right than what we describe, your local law prevails.
We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in our products, our legal obligations, or industry practice. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. For substantive changes, we will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
